The Sootcaves vary from enormous to barely large enough for a full-grown cat to worm through. There's many layers of ash and many fires still burning, and in the deepest recesses is the Moltenstone. The air gets harder to breathe the deeper you go.
One of the largest near-surface caverns is where the SootClan camp lies. Rocks have been piled up to create definition between dens and there is a large jutting rock where the leader addresses the Clan.
